Overview

White Desert

A surreal landscape of white chalk rock formations shaped by wind and erosion—famous for “mushrooms” and natural sculptures that look like animals, figures, and fantasy shapes. The scenery is especially magical during sunrise and sunset.

Black Desert

Characterized by dark volcanic rocks and dramatic mountain scenery. It feels wilder and more rugged than the White Desert, with unique viewpoints, springs, caves, and cool desert trails—perfect for jeep exploration.

Daily Schedule

Daily Itinerary Black Desert & Agabat Valley (Camping Night)

  • 06:00–06:30 AM: Pick-up from your Cairo hotel and transfer to Bahariya Oasis by private A/C vehicle.

  • Arrive at the Ahmed Safari Camp in Bahariya and enjoy lunch.

  • After lunch, start the adventure by jeep to explore Black Desert and climb the Black Mountains.

  • Drive to El Haiz Bedouin Village to swim in a natural spring.

  • Visit Crystal Mountain and the Crystal Cave, then enjoy the panoramic view of Agabat Valley.

  • Enjoy sand boarding.

  • Continue driving to the New Desert area near Farafra Oasis, where you’ll see beautiful natural limestone shapes such as chicken, rabbits, dog, ice cream, and many more rock formations.

  • Enjoy a BBQ dinner.

  • Overnight: camping under the stars in tents.

Daily Itinerary Day 2 — White Desert (Mushrooms) + Hot Spring + Sunset Viewpoint (Hotel Night)

  • Morning: Wake early for sunrise in the desert, then enjoy breakfast.

  • Go by jeep to the New White Desert and explore the famous mushrooms and chalk formations.

  • Head to the hot spring and enjoy swimming.

  • Around 11 AM: Transfer back to Ahmed Safari Camp for check-in and shower.

  • Lunch at the camp hotel.

  • Evening: Drive by jeep to visit palm groves, natural hot & cold springs, and watch sunset from the English Mountain.

  • Pass through the oasis market for shopping from local shops.

  • Return to the camp hotel.

  • Dinner at the camp hotel.

  • Overnight: stay in the hotel.

Daily Itinerary Day 3 — Return to Cairo

  • After breakfast, check out.

  • Drive back to Cairo by private A/C vehicle.

  • Arrive and drop-off at your Cairo hotel
